Grover Bentley Announces Candidacy for Florida House of Representatives District 33 as a Libertarian
Palm Bay, Florida - Grover Bentley has officially announced his candidacy for Florida House of Representatives District 33, running as a Libertarian. Bentley, a combat veteran, has lived in Florida since 2015 and has a deep commitment to promoting individual freedom and limited government. Bentley served in the United States Army for six years and deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, where he earned a Combat Action Badge. He believes that government should be smaller, more efficient, and less intrusive in people's lives. As a Libertarian, he supports free markets, individual responsibility, and personal liberty. He believes that every person should have the right to live their life as they see fit, without interference from the government.
“I am excited to announce my candidacy for the Florida House of Representatives District 33 as a Libertarian,” said Bentley. “I am committed to serving my community and fighting for individual freedom and limited government. As a representative, I will work to defend the Constitution and protect the rights of every Floridian.” Bentley's priorities for the District 33 campaign include:
Protecting the Indian River Lagoon
Cutting government spending and reducing taxes
Protecting personal privacy and civil liberties
Promoting educational choice and opportunity
Supporting law enforcement reform to ensure that the police are held accountable to the communities they serve
Protecting Second Amendment rights
“District 33 deserves a representative who will put the interests of the people first,” said Bentley. “I am committed to working on behalf of my constituents, and I ask for their support as we work to build a stronger, more prosperous Florida.”
Bentley has a strong track record of community involvement and public service. He has been an active member of several community organizations, including his HOA, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Stack-Up, Girl Scouts, and the School District of Osceola.
